Sam Newman
Sam Newman, as great a footballer as he was, has become more famous since football and we are very fortunate that Percy has been able to organise his special appearance at an Odd Friday Lunch, Fri 17th Feb. Percy & Sam had similar football careers and played against each other often. See attached for more detail on this special OFL.
This will obviously be a big lunch and RSVP mandatory.
As you know, these lunches are held every Odd dated Friday, so feel free to attend when you have the inclination. Its not a club but come along and enjoy a good lunch, a few drinks and good company. There will be something different each lunch, but it will consistently provide a special menu at a good price, good company, fun and a sense of belonging.
Our last OFL with David Rhys Jones was a very interesting and entertaining lunch, and a great start to the year.
MENU
Entree – Vegetarian Laksa with Thai basil and lime
Main – Mustard Roast beef, confit potato, pea and mint salad or Ginger and sesame glazed Tuna with pickled vegetable salad
Dessert – Local and imported cheeses, quince paste, pear and crackers
